Dharma Techno, the shared spirit of two worlds coming together

 Dharma Techno, a new practice....

Dharma, a Sanskrit word, means in our context, the nature of all things -
the energy, the direction, the path, of life.

Techno is the music we love.

To meditate is to be and observe. Our meditation practice is free from any religious beliefs and we associate it with silence.

Dharma Techno organises 4-day retreats in the Drôme.
We practice silent and guided meditation as well as two movement sessions each day, and when our inner perceptions are awakened, we experience a live techno performance played by a musician who participates with us throughout the retreat.

The meditations are guided by Denis Robberechts. He spent 7 years in India where he studied Indian classical music and different meditation teachings. Since 2006, Denis has taught regularly in Spain, France, Holland, Austria, and India. He transmits his technique, based on the ability to observe. It’s simple and far from any dogma or belief. This teaching allows us to find the way back to our inner world and to have a better knowledge of who we really are.

The gite, located in the heart of the mountains, offers all the comfort necessary for our stay: comfortable accommodation in a double or triple room, a dining room and a very beautiful meditation room which transforms into a dancefloor when the time comes.

Dharma Techno also organizes a festival every year.
In Burgundy, the Dharma Techno Festival takes place over 3 days. During the day there are silent as well as guided meditation sessions, two movement sessions, and during the evening electronic musical programming.

In order to keep our perception clear and fully enjoy this moment, our events take place without drugs or alcohol. We pay particular attention to accommodation and catering conditions. We eat vegetarian and prepare meals with organic and local products as much as  possible.
